Glorious day for the 26th Annual Breed Show on Saturday 4th July at Newark Showground. Judge was Mr S Thomas. Entry was low, with several absentees - but there was an excellent atmosphere and the show was very enjoyable.
Some of the winners are shown below, but I was trying to photograph all of the breeds - so apologies to those I missed.

2009 SHOW
   

Best milker and best in show was a British first kidder Caulan Mystique HB074404D owned by Mrs S Gow and bred by Mrs L Scobie. Best male was Horsehay Jinsimon BA017734D owned and bred by Mr & Mrs B Rhodes.

Best adult male and reserve best in show Nightshaze Simon BA175255D. Owned by Mr &Mrs B Rhodes, bred by Mrs S Owen.


 

Best goatling Alailah Maryrose BA17548D owned and bred by Mrs Sue Gow.

BA Representatives in the interbeed pairs championship - Meg and Simon - whee they were placed second.


2006 SHOW
   

Best milker and best in show Alailah Peace Q*7 BrCh BA016947D owned and bred by Mrs Sue Gow.

Winner of the first kiddler class Dresden Bakasha BA017408D. Reserve best milker- owned and bred by Charlie Peck


2nd in the same class as Peace. Broadwater Pomfret BA017224D BrCh , owned and bred by Mrs Erica Filby. Third in the IP line up.

Alailah Meg Q*6 BrCh BA016597D is the mother of the BIS and herself has previously been BIS. At 7 years old Meg won the veteran milker class. Owned and bred by Mrs Sue Gow.


BA type milker Gillfield Geneva HB73594D owned and bred by Miss G Duffield won the AOV class. Geneva is a "kidded kid"

Hunningley Zuleika BA17364D was second in the first kidder class. She is owned and bred by Chris Hagain.


Milkers as placed by the judge in an IP line up. Peace, Bakasha, Pomfret, Meg took the first four places in that order.

Best adult male and best male was Hunningley Zach BA17309D. Owned and bred by Chris Hagain. Now two years old Zach followed up his win as best buckling and best male in 2005.


Best male and best female as they were entered as the BA representatives in the inter-breed pairs championship. Here the goats are help by their owners/breeders.
